I started my business practice as a Life Coach with a background in building confidence, training and personal development. I believe in life-long learning and enterprise. Having 27 years in the major UK corporate Telco as an engineer and manager, and a further 15 years in one-to-one training and coaching, my experience is broad, so I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. I have specialised in psychology in the workplace, personality profiling and I can interpret how teams work together functionally or dis-functionally. I start from the belief that everyone can make a useful contribution with the right opportunity and support.
You will find that my service is made up from a series of discussions, spaced out over time to satisfy your aims and desires. Contact will be as formal or informal as you prefer within a business setting. Conversations may be face-to-face or by any form of remote communications such as audio only or with video.
I'm a great listener, my approach is relaxed and friendly, and our conversation will go at your pace. Everything we discuss will be in absolute confidence, but if anything comes up that you feel uncomfortable with, or if there's anything inappropriate for our sessions, then we will simply move away to another subject.
Expect lots of questions as I need to find out about you and your business, to see what's happening and where I can add value. I will be thorough, so no stones are unturned, but I will not be judgemental. I will help you to solve your problems by challenging your thoughts, exploring the alternatives, and playing around with all your creativity and ideas, but please be assured that I will never express my opinions, that is not my role.
There are other forms of support, of which giving advice is one, and if it's appropriate that I can provide a support system like advice or mentoring, I'll make it very clear beforehand so that you understand the contract and relationship has changed.
